Today is Be An Angel Day, a day on which people around the world are encouraged to be like the angles and ‘do one small act of service for someone; be a blessings in someone’s life.’

Be An Angel Day is a non-profit, non-denominational event celebrated only to encourage people to be kind. You can celebrate on an individual basis and perform one small act of service. Or you can celebrate with a group with a larger act in the community.

So go ahead and do something nice today, just like an angel.

Today is Make A Difference Day, a day of neighbors helping neighbors, and the largest national day of community service.

This year is the 20th anniversary of Make A Difference Day, sponsored by USA WEEKEND and HandsOn Network.

Last year three million people joined in and volunteer on Make A Difference Day, accomplishing thousands of projects in hundreds of towns. Let’s try and make this year even better.

Celebrate today by lending a hand in your community. Your project can be big or small, as long as you’re helping. Alright, ready…break!
